This is a temple located in the mountains on the east side of Okabe-shuku. The main temple houses 223 wooden statues of soldiers built to memorialize the heroes who died during the Russo-Japanese War from this area and is also known as the "Hyotai Temple". Wooden statues were created in the Meiji era based on photographs of their lives, and their facial expressions and costumes are completely different. When you enter the hall, you will be surrounded by the air of dignity and a valuable space that will make you think again about peace is expanding.
