This is a temple along the old Tokaido just north of Okabe-shuku Ohatago Kashibaya. At a temple that opened in 1594, the priests inherited the moxibustion therapy taught by the scholar-monk in the Edo period. Also known as a temple of moxibustion. Many travelers, such as daimyo, samurai, and so on, have come to the treatment and gained a reputation as moxibustion eases the fatigue of traveling. In addition, a woooden statue of a city designated cultural property is also kept.
